A World-Class |
It opened in 1998 as the tallest ride of its kind
in the world and was
listed as the tallest free-fall ride in the world in the 1999 edition of the Guinness Book of Records. Located in the middle of the amusement park/resort near the Corkscrew roller coaster (where Jungle Larry's Safari operated through 1994), this 300-foot-tall state-of-the-art adrenaline factory features four 240-foot-tall steel connecting towers, two of which blast riders UP its structure and two of which plummet riders DOWN -- all in 3 seconds at more than 50 mph! Riding a column of highly compressed air, more than 3.4 million thrill-seekers have felt the "power" since the giant ride's inaugural season. DESIGN: |
